Doc McStuffins Wiki

One Note Wonder is the second segment of the fifth episode of the Disney Junior series Doc McStuffins, which premiered on March 28, 2012.

Alma's xylophone toy, Xyla, loses a key by accident while being repaired for a loose screw.

Donny and Alma are pretending to be in a band, when Doc passes by. They invite Doc to join them, with Lambie as their audience. The three play music, until Alma begins having issues with her xylophone, when one of the keys begins to sound different. Alma gets upset, and doesn't want to be in the band, until Doc promises her that she can fix it. While Donny and Alma go to eat lunch, Doc takes the xylophone, Xyla, to the clinic.

In the clinic, the rest of the toys are excited to meet Xyla, as they love her music. However, Xyla is upset when she hears that one of her keys is not working correctly, so Doc gives her a check-up. During her examination, Doc finds out that one of Xyla's keys is loose, and diagnoses her with "Loose Key Syndrome", meaning that one of the screws on her keys is loose, which causes that key's sound to be off. While trying to hold the screw in place, Stuffy accidentally pulls out the screw, and the key falls down the drain! Xyla is distraught, but Doc tells her not to worry. When she was young, she lost a tooth, but soon, a new one grew in to replace it! She tells Xyla that she can replace her missing key with a new one from her box of toy parts. Doc finds a new key, and soon, the new key is installed, and Xyla is fixed! Xyla is glad to be fixed, and she thanks the rest of the toys before Doc takes her back to Alma. Alma is delighted to have Xyla back, and dedicates a song to Doc, thanking her.

Alma: Wow! Doc, wanna be in our band?
Doc: Sure! Lambie can be our audience.
Stuffy: (Beat box noises) I'm a hip-hop dragon and I'm here to say, I like to roar most e-ver-y day. I'm big and brave and I got cool wings and a big blue tail, it's a dragony thing. So that's my story, they call me Stuffy. Come on, lets play if you're Pa-puffy, pa-pa-pa-puffy, A u-huuh-uh a u-huuh, a-Stuffy, sta-Stuffy. U-huuh-uh-huh, that's me!
Lambie: Hi, Xyla. I'm Lambie. Oh, I love your music. Every time I hear it, it makes me want to twirl!
Doc: You know, Xyla, when a key is loose, there's a good chance that you might lose it.
Xyla: Oh! I don't like the sound of that! No one's gonna wanna listen to a xylophone with Loose Key Syndrome.
Lambie: Well, I still think you sound pretty.
