Lambie: (Sees Whispers for the first time and gasps) That is the most cutety-cute kitty I've ever seen.

Stuffy: (To Whispers) Welcome to Doc's bedroom! (Whispers sniffs Stuffy's hand and gives a frightened meow, then a growl) A cat of few words, eh? (Whispers meows) Okay. One word.
Doc: Hm. I don't think she can talk.
Chilly: Uh, does that mean what I think it means?
Hallie: That the kitty's a toy pet?
Chilly: Oh, I was thinking a wicked sea witch had stolen her voice, but the pet thing makes more sense.

Lambie: Doc, do you think I can adopt the kitty? Pretty pinkie please?
Doc: Adopting a pet is a super thing to do, and I think you and the kitty will be great together, Lambie.
Lambie: Yay! This is a big moment. Your first cuddle. Come here, my pretty kitty who's so perfect for me. (Whispers hisses at Lambie)
Chilly: I don't think she likes cuddles.
Lambie: Everyone likes cuddles.
Chilly: Well, except her. And if she doesn't like cuddles, how can she be perfect for you?
Lambie: Maybe she didn't understand what I was going to do. Here. Hello, Kitty. My name is Lambie, and I am going to give you a really big cuddle this. (Gives Chilly a cuddle)

Lambie: (about Whispers) Why does she keep running away?
Doc: Maybe she's afraid. It's scary to be in a new house with new toys.
Lambie: But if she's scared, how will we ever catch her so she can be my love-ty, hugg-ity precious pet?
Doc: I bet she won't run away if we're quiet and careful not to frighten her.

Lambie: (After Whispers hisses at the thermometer) What's wrong? Is she scared of the thermometer?
Chilly: As the resident expert on scary, I can say that thermometers are not scary. Unless it's a ghost thermometer. Or a monster thermometer. Or (gulps) clown thermometer. Okay, now thermometers are scary.
Doc: Even without clowns and monsters, our instruments can be scary to a pet who's never been to the vet.

Stuffy: (Whispers jumps on him and everyone gasps) Hey, where'd Lambie's kitty go? (Doc, Hallie and Chilly giggle) Here, kitty kitty. Oh, kitty, where are you? (Whispers meows and Stuffy sees she's on his tail) Aha! Lambie, I found your kitty.
Lambie: Hey, why didn't she jump on me? Aren't I cute and cuddly?

Lambie: (As Whispers chases after a light) Look, she likes the light. That's so cute.
Doc: (Giggling) She sure does. Sometimes the simplest things entertain kitties. (Doc and Lambie laugh)
Chilly: (Giggles as Stuffy goes up to the light) And Stuffies.
Stuffy: It's over there. No, it's over there. Oh, I got it. (Jumps for the light and lands under pillow)
Doc: (Giggles) Stuffy.
Stuffy: Missed it.

Doc: Do you have a name picked out?
Lambie: No. I haven't even thought about that yet. Oh, the pressure. Names, names, names. What should I call you?
Chilly: You can call me Chilly.
Lambie: Not you, Chilly. The kitty needs a... (Whispers meows quietly) What? (Gasps) How about... Whispers? A soft, sweet name for a soft, sweet kitty.
